  2. Temperature and Wather • So its possible to go skiing over day in march up in the ski resort 20 minutes from our villas and yet be able to walk around the village with just fleece on and enjoy the locals hospitality with the sun shining down and spring is in the air. Or it can still be very cold and be a meter of snow in the village. If you come and visit us on our Ski Holiday to Romania Tour or any one of our Translvania Tours you will visit other parts of Romania as well as Maramures. Below are the temperatures for Maramures, Bucharest and ClujNapoca.

  3. Natural phenomens • A natural phenomenon is not a man-made event. Examples include sunrise, weather (fog, hurricanes, tornadoes), biological processes (decomposition, germination), physical processes (wave propagation, conservation of energy, erosion), tidal flow, and include natural disasters such as electromagnetic pulses, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes.

  4. Events in Spring • JuniiBrasovului (one week after the Orthodox Easter) • MartisorDay (March 1) • Women’s day(March 8) • Work day(May 1)

  5. Migrating birds • Bird migration is the regular seasonal movement, often north and south along a flyway between breeding and wintering grounds, undertaken by many species of birds. Migration, which carries high costs in predation and mortality, including from hunting by humans, is driven primarily by availability of food. Migration occurs mainly in the Northern Hemisphere where birds are funnelled on to specific routes by natural barriers such as the Mediterranean Sea or the Caribbean Sea.

  6. Plantes in spring • Spring is a time of regeneration and renewal. With each passing day, there's exponentially more and more daylight. The whole world awakens, and it shows in all sorts of ways. Animals come out of hibernation, but so does something else. This is the time of year when some of our favorite flowers transform from bud or bulb to blossom. These 10 springtime plants made this list not only for their exquisite flowers, but also for other noteworthy characteristics. Some entertain the senses with their intoxicating fragrances, while others multiply so quickly, it makes gardening easy. Check out these top plant picks for this inspiring season.

  7. Equinox • An equinox occurs twice a year, around 20 March and 22 September. The word itself has several related definitions. The oldest meaning is the day when daytime and night are of approximately equal duration. The word equinox comes from this definition, derived from the Latin aequus (equal) and nox (night). The equinox is not exactly the same as the day when period of daytime and night are of equal length for two reasons

  8. During hot summer months in Eastern Europe, light dresses and skirts come out for Eastern European women, and slacks and summer shirts come out for men. Women will wear sandals or heels and men will wear summer footwear but usually not sneakers. Western women who fear drawing too much attention by wearing breezy dresses and skirts shouldn't - Eastern European women will upstage you even when you wear what you consider to be your most provacative outfit!
