  3. Perry Barr - Strategic Assessment • Population - PB 100,300 HW 25,547 • Number of households PB 39,400 HW 9,592 • 55 + population. Lower than city average • Handsworth Wood - younger age profile than the city, especially 15 - 19 • But – lower in the 0-4 bracket

  4. Ethnic Make-up More diverse than city as a whole • White British PB - 39.4%, HW – 22.6% • BME PB - 40.7%, HW - 68.4% • Indian PB – 15.9%, HW - 35.8% • Black Caribbean PB – 10.1%, HW -13% • Post 2004 EC PB – 2.3%, HW 3.9%
