Validation Key Priorities in 2006 • Define Validation Objectives and allocate to projects • Based on standards from RFG/EUROCAE/RTCA etc. • Continue Trials and Simulations • Address the Validation Objectives in a structured way • “ADS-B out”: Shift to pre-operational • CRISTAL Toulouse 2 (AIRBUS, DSNA, THALES ATM, Alticode and a major airline) • CRISTAL MED 2 (ENAV, DSNA, AENA, Hellenic CAA, MATS, Cyprus CAA and local airlines) – possible participation of NAV Portugal • Certified avionics • Target is operational approval • “ADS-B in”: Focus on ATSAW, reality check for S&M
