  4. Researching Tour Info • Other Schools to tour Sri Lanka recently, with Bundu Bashers: • St Stithians, 2004 • St Andrews, 2005 • St Johns, 2005 • St Davids, 2011 • Dainfern, 2011 • St Albans, 2012

  5. Logistics • Fly Out on Friday, 3 August 2012 • Return on Saturday, 18 August 2012 • Emirates Airline via Singapore or Dubai. • No Visas required • 16 Day Tour; still left with 15 days of own holiday.

  6. Itinerary Confirmation • Will only be confirmed 4 - 6 weeks before we leave. • Test Series between India and Sri Lanka – venues to be confirmed. • Colombo, Kandy and Galle are the main venues. A match versus Kingswood in Kandy will be one of the highlights.

  7. Day 1: Depart South Africa – flights from PE, via Jhb. Day 2: Transport to Colombo Day 3: Match 1 Day 4: Match 2 Day 5: Match 3 Day 6: Travel to Kandy Day 7: Match 4 Day 8: Match 5

  8. Day 9: Travel to Galle Day 10: Day off; Sightseeing Day 11: Match 6 – Day 1 Day 12: Match 6 – Day 2 Day 13: Match 7 Day 14: Travel to Colombo Day 15: Match 8 Day 16: Transfer to Airport; Flight Home

  9. Cost Per Person Before Fundraising • Bundu Bashers – R27 000 • Incl all Flights from PE • All accommodation • Most Meals • Umpires, balls, etc • Hiring of Venues • Coach Hire for ground transport

  11. Fundraising • Cathy Braans IC • Three Dinners – hoping for R60 000. • Calendar – R10 000 • Total raised to be divided by the 15 players evenly. • Others TBC

  13. Payments • Deposit (flights) • 1 December (R6000) • 1 March (R4000) • 1 May (R4000) • 1 July (R6000) • 1 August (outstanding)

  14. Selection • 15 Players • School Fees • Selected by end of the year • Reserve List • Nobody will sit out for more than two games ( ie Play in 6/8 games). Everybody sits out once.
