  3. Memory VerseJohn 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.”

  4. John 15:2Divine Good ProductionPart 5John 15:2-8

  5. A. Definition.B. There are three types of good in history, (Divine, Human and Moral).C. What we think is good is not always Divine Good.

  6. D. The contrast to Divine Good is human good, which comes from the O.S.N.E. There must be spiritual growth before there can be production of Divine Good.F. The believer is designed to produce Divine Good.

  7. G. The production of Divine Good is related to God’s Logistical Grace Blessings.2 Cor 9:6-10, 14-15; 2 Tim 2:15, 20-21

  8. 1. Logistical Grace includes three factors of Divine provision.a. Life Support.b. Blessing to sustain life.c. Divine Provision to execute God’s Plan for you.

  9. 2. 2 Cor 9:6-15 is an object lesson of the correct mental attitude for Divine Good production, based on Logistical Grace Blessings.

  10. a. Logistical Grace gives us the provision of capacity, having the right mental attitude to produce Divine Good.

  11. 3. In vs. 7, “Heart” – KARDIA means the Right Lobe of our soul where we store and retain Bible Doctrine, the righteous thinking of God.

  12. “Purposed” - PROAIREO “to bring forward, bring forth from one’s stores, to choose for one’s self before another, to prefer, decided or purposed.”

  13. “Not grudgingly” = ME EK LUPE. LUPE, “Pain of body or mind, grief, sorrow, annoyance, affliction, reluctantly or with regret.”

  14. 1 Peter 2:19, “For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person bears up under sorrows when suffering unjustly.”

  15. “Under compulsion” – EK ANAGKE, “compulsion or of necessity imposed either by the circumstances, or by law of duty regarding to one’s advantage, custom, or argument.”

  16. 2 Cor 9:7, “Each one in as much as he has previously decided to do in his right lobe, not out of reluctance or out of compulsion imposed by law of duty, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

  17. Our fruit production must be done with the correct mental attitude based on the Logistical Grace Blessings of Bible doctrine resident within our souls.

  18. 4. Principles:

  19. a. Whatever you have made up your mind to do, do it as God’s Word and the Spirit have placed on your heart.

  20. b. Do not take side steps or short cuts as a result of outside influences distracting you.

  21. c. Unless truly influenced by God, do not add to what you had originally determined to do. Adding can lead to approbation lust.

  22. d. Do what you set out to accomplish in the way you determined to accomplish it.

  23. e. Never worry about what other people think or will say about your work, good or bad.

  24. f. Be at peace and be confident with whatever it is you have decided to do or have done.

  25. g. Do not enter into any fruit bearing reluctantly. It’s better to not do the work and remain in fellowship than to do the work and be sinning.

  26. h. Do not use the previous point as a cop-out. Get the correct mental attitude, adjust to the righteousness of God, and do the work.

  27. i. Do not feel compelled or pressured or that you have to do it because someone told you to or because of what others may think. (peer pressure)

  28. j. Absolutely do not enter into any deeds with anger, bitterness, resentment or approbation lust.

  29. k. Do every good deed with +H; the joy and happiness of God emanating through your soul.

  30. 5. Vs 8, “all sufficiency” refers to God providing everything necessary to keep you alive and to take in Bible doctrine, (Logistical Grace Blessing).
