This contains contact information for me as well as required student materials and a teacher wish list. • Please sign the sign in sheet especially with the parent’s email address. I send updates to parents that will be most helpful in keeping everyone on track.

  4. Course Materials • Required Student Materials for AP Statistics • 3” binders with dividers labeled 1. Bell work, 2. Notes, 3. Homework, 4. Tests and Quizzes • Calculator (Texas Instrument, TI 83+ or higher is required) • Notebook Paper • Pencils and pens

  5. HOMEWORK • Homework sheets will be distributed every three weeks and can also be found on the course website. You can also find the lesson for the day on the website as well! Therefore, late work will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Here is an Example of these Homework Sheets • Week One • Monday: Get all supplies and put all handouts in your three ring binder • Tuesday: p. 7-11 #1.2, 1.4, 1.6, p. 16-18 # 1.7, 1.11 • Wednesday: p. 22-23 #1.12, 1.14, 1.16, 1.17 • Thursday: p. 31 #1.20 (read pages 31-34), p. 33 1.23-1.29 odd • Friday: Note Taking Guides Complete in full using the text book. • Week Two • Monday: p. 40-48 #1.31, 1.34, 1.36, p. 52, 1.40 and 1.42 • Tuesday: p. 56 # 1.44 • Wednesday: p. 60 #1.47 and 1.48 (read p. 61), p. 66-72 #1.60-1.72 even • Thursday: p. 66-72 # 1.59-1.73 odd • Friday: Test Day. No homework  have a great weekend • Week 3 • Monday: OFF  • Tuesday: p. 83-84 # 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 • Wednesday: p. 89 # 2.6, 2.8, 2.10, and 2.11-2.17 odd • Thursday: Note Taking Guides Complete in full using the text book. • Friday: p. 95 # 2.19, 2.20

  7. What Can your student obtain by taking this class? • Upon successful completion of this course and the AP Exam that will be taken in May, the student will obtain college credit for an introductory level Statistics Course. • Today, 80% of all majors require an introductory Statistics Course.

  8. What is the best review book to get for the AP Exam? • I prefer that my students get a Princeton Review Book. (there is one displayed to the left of this screen). We will use this book in class during review in the fourth quarter of the year.
