Overview • Population served approx. 90,000 • Properties connected approx. 44,000 • Supply around 31 Ml/day via approx 600km of water main • All groundwater sources; 18 boreholes, 11 sites • Highly mineralised, typical total hardness of 450 mg/l CaCO3, naturally occurring Fluoride • 3 Treatment Works, 6 Service Reservoirs, 3 Supply Points and 3 Water Quality Zones

Performance/Compliance • 2012 4974 samples taken - 1 Treatment Work sample exceeded the turbidity specification (1.2 NTU) • 2011 5355 samples taken - 1 Treatment Work sample exceeded the turbidity specification • 2010 5110 samples taken - 1 Service Reservoir sample had 1/100ml total coliform • 2009 4580 samples taken - 1 Outlet Treatment Work sample had 3/100ml total coliforms; 2 different zone samples had 1/100ml total coliform • 2008 4676 samples taken - no samples failed
