Instructions • You will rate each picture on two aspects. • Remember that you need to rate the picture just on the aspects given and nothing else. • For instance you are told to rate a picture on the Technical aspect. The picture is clear, crisp and contrast is good. You would rate the picture highly in Technical but perhaps low in originality.

  3. Instructions Continued • What I am not looking for: • Picture 1 • Revelation- it’s not good • Purpose- I don’t know. • What I AM looking for: • Picture 1 • Revelation- This picture offers a unique way to look at a can of paint. I like the way it spills out of the bucket onto the concrete. • Purpose- The photographers seems to be making a statement, to me it says “Paint the world your own color”.

  4. Instructions- Yes more • Fill in the Judging Pictures worksheet and answer the questions according to what you think. • There is no wrong answer, just supply WHY you feel the way you do about the photo.
