Support for establishing the Network Tees Valley Unlimited Farmers Markets National Farmers Union Rural Businesses Tees Valley Unitary Authorities (4) Environment Groups Country Landowners Local Strategic Partnerships Local Town and Parish Councils North York Moors Coast and Hills Leader Programme Rural Community Police A number of individuals Tees Valley Rural Community Council

  6. Proposed • Annual Conference • Three theme groups: • Rural Economy • Social and community • Environment • Geographical meeting based on Rural Forums in four Unitary Authority areas of Tees Valley • Managed by a steering group which will co-ordinate information and activities

Key Proposed Dates • Launch 14thMarch 2012 • Register members • Nomination for Chair • End March Steering group to co-ordinate feedback from the event and agree on briefing for the Chair for meeting with Ministers • 17thApril 2012 Chair meeting with Ministers • Thematic meetings planned to date: • Economy Between 18th and 25th April to ensure taking advantage of the 30th April deadline for Rural Economic grant • Social & Community 10am 9th July • Environment 2pm 5th September
