  2. Dance Company • A company that consists of 20 dancers. • Perform different dance styles through out the year. • Opportunities for student choreography. • An overall great experience!!!

  3. Tryout Officers Requirements Perform Practice Choreograph

  4. Officers

  5. Practice • Practice is typically during 4th period on A-days and Monday through Thursday 2:30pm till 4:00pm. • You will warm up, stretch, work on technique, and learn choreography.

  6. Choreography • Dancers will learn several dances by either student choreographers or guest choreographers. • Students will also have a few opportunities to choreograph dances. • Children’s Shows • Concert • Parent’s Night

  7. Maintain a 2.0 GPA and CPA. • Only 1 “F” or “0” per term. • Attending practices and performances. • $200 dollar fee. Team Requirements

  8. Performance Information • Dance Co performs in several school assemblies. • A few District Shows. • Choreographs and puts on an traveling elementary concert. • Two Parent’s Night Performances. • Dance Company Spring Concert.

  9. Try Out Information • Learn to 1 minute pieces in about an hour each morning. • Choreograph a 1 minute solo. • Perform all three at tryouts with tryout packet filled out.

  10. Dance Co. 2012-2013 Believe, in yourself. Unite, as a team. Rise, as a dancer.
