  2. Second Commandment • Éxo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

  3. Strength available • Deut 33:25, “As thy days, so shall thy strength be.” • But why do we lose our strength?

  4. Take a hold of it • Isaiah 27:5 …Let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.

  5. How to take a hold of it? • Strength is not merely given daily, it is made available daily. • Isa_44:12 …He is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.

  6. How to take a hold of it? • Isa 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

  7. Who is the waters? • Jer 2:13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

  8. It is vain • It would be taking the Lord’s name in vain to claim that we are His children and walk around hungry and thirsty of spiritual strength, spiritual health. • Because it is available…
