SPECIAL WASTE : Competence of the Province Special waste indicates that one not derived from “domestic” activities but from economic ones (agricultural, industrial, crafts, from commerce and services waste) The Province grants the authorizations for plants that treat special waste on regional delegation (LR 14/1999, DGR 239/2008). In particular, the Province is called to grant authorizations in conformity with the art. 216 and art. 208 of Legislative Decree n. 152/2006, to carry out inspections to monitor all the waste treatment plants, to participate in conferences of services for the issue of authorizations under regional or municipal jurisdiction, to apply administrative sanctions.
SPECIAL WASTE: Regulations The legislation sets the waste management procedures and regulates the administrative and penal sanctions in case of non-compliance with environmental standards. • Ministerial Decree n. 22 of 05/02/1997 (repealed) • Ministerial Decree of 02/05/1998 (updated in 2006) • Legislative Decree 3 April 2006, n. 152 (T.U.A) with the following modifications among which D.l. 4/2008 (V.I.A. and V.A.S.) and D.M. 161/2012 (excavating earth and rocks).
