I do and I understand. --Confucius • The Washington, D.C. trip is designed to be a practical learning experience for the participants. • The students will get an opportunity to see American Government and History in person. • To understand fully the hardships that the Founding Fathers faced. • To determine how a Representative Republic works.

  3. Eligibility To be eligible for the Washington DC trip, students must: • Be academically eligible • Maintain 95% attendance • Have received no more than 3 unexcused tardies • Have not received an out of school suspension • Have not received more than one (1) in-school suspension

  4. Eligibility • To be eligible for the Washington DC trip, students must: • Be in good standing with the library, cafeteria, athletic department, music department, etc. with respect to monies owed or equipment issued • Agree to and abide by the DC Trip Behavior Contract (to be signed by student and parent in Spring 2010) • Attend all scheduled DC Trip Meetings
