Mythology Project. By: Cole Malina and Garrett Locke. Lineage: Hera. Spouse- Zeus is the spouse of Hera. Parents- Hera was raised by the titans Ocean and Tethys. Siblings- Hera’s brother is Zeus. Children- The children of Hera are Ares, Eris, Hephaestus, and Hebe. Lineage: Athena.

  2. Lineage: Hera • Spouse- Zeus is the spouse of Hera. • Parents- Hera was raised by the titans Ocean and Tethys. • Siblings- Hera’s brother is Zeus. • Children- The children of Hera are Ares, Eris, Hephaestus, and Hebe.

  3. Lineage: Athena • Spouse- Athena didn’t have a spouse. • Parents- Athena’s parents are Zeus and Metis. • Siblings- Some of Athena’s siblings include Muses, Ares, Hebe, Hermes, and Apollo. • Children- The only child of Athena is Pandora.

  4. Lineage: Artemis • Spouse- Artemis does not have a spouse. • Parents- Artemis’s parents are Zeus and Leto. • Siblings- Artemis’s twin brother is Apollo. • Children-Artemis’s Had no children.

  5. Lineage: Hestia • Spouse- Hestia had no spouse. • Parents- Hestia’s parents were the titans Cronus and Rhea. • Siblings- The four siblings of Hestia is Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, and Demeter. • Children- Hestia had no children.

  6. Lineage: Pandora • Spouse- She was given as a gift to Epimetheus. • Parents- She was created by Athena and Aphrodite. • Siblings- Pandora had no siblings because she was made out of clay and turned to life. • Children- Pandora had no known children.

Powers • Hera’s- Hera's ability is to bless or curse marriages. • Athena’s- Athena had power over justice, wisdom, skill, and war. • Artemis’s- Artemis could influence the behavior of others. • Hestia’s- Hestia had the power of a earth fire. • Pandora’s- Pandora’s power lies with the Pandora box.

  9. Weaknesses • Hera’s- Hera’s main weakness was jealousy. • Athena’s- Athena’s weakness is that she doesn’t use emotions. • Artemis’s- Artemis is vengeful and very impulsive. • Hestia’s- Hestia’s is unsociability and self- sacrificing. • Pandora’s- Pandora's weakness is deceitfulness.

Identification • Hera’s – Beautiful woman wearing a crown holding a lotus tipped staff. • Athena’s- Young beautiful goddess wearing full armor. • Artemis’s- Young girl wearing knee length dress with a bow and hunting arrows. • Hestia’s-veiled woman holding a flowered branch. • Pandora’s- A young woman made of clay.

  11. Important events • Hera- First enclosed roof sanctuary dedicated to her. • Athena- Athena had a city named after her. • Artemis- She slayed Aigio in the war of the giants. • Hestia- Hestia was swallowed by Cronos. • Pandora- She opened the Pandora box.

  12. Allusions • Hera- Hera is alluded in the modern day HERA women’s cancer foundation. • Athena- Athena is alluded through the character wonder woman. • Artemis- Artemis is alluded through the dark hunter series. • Hestia- Hestia’s modern allusion is the housewife. • Pandora- Pandora is alluded in the modern movie Prometheus.
