Step-1 : Fertility medications are prescribed to stimulate egg production. Multiple eggs are desired because some eggs won't develop or fertilize after retrieval. A transvaginal ultrasound is employed to look at the ovaries, and biopsy samples are taken to see hormone levels. Step-2 : Eggs are retrieved through a minor surgery that uses ultrasound imaging to guide a hollow needle through the cavity to get rid of the eggs. Medicine is given to downsize and remove possible uneasiness. Step 3: The male is asked to supply a sample of sperm, which is ready for combining with the eggs. Step 4: during a process called insemination, the sperm and eggs are mixed together and stored during a laboratory dish to encourage fertilization. In some cases where there's a lower probability of fertilization, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) could also be used. Through this procedure, one sperm is injected directly into the egg in an effort to realize fertilization. The eggs are monitored to verify that fertilization and cellular division are happening . Once this happens , the fertilized eggs are considered embryos. Step 5: The embryos are usually transferred into the woman’s uterus three to 5 days following egg retrieval and fertilization. A catheter or little cylinder is embedded into the uterus to move the incipient organisms. This procedure is painless for many women, although some may experience mild cramping. In
