The main areas of neurology are the autonomic, central, and peripheral nervous systems.   1. What Is a Neurology Neurology is the branch of medicine that deals with disorders of the nervous system, which include the brain, blood vessels, muscles, and nerves. The main areas of neurology are the autonomic, central, and peripheral nervous systems. A physician who works in the field of neurology is called a neurologist; a neurosurgeon treats neurological disorders via surgery.

  2. What Is a Neuroscience The study of the major neuroscience- related disciplines is usually referred to as neuro"neurophysiology" and neuroanatomy. As opposed to psychology, which studies the mind and human behavior neurology is the study of physical aspects of the nervous system and brain using standard biological techniques.

  3. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN NEUROLOGY & NEUROSCIENCE The study of neurology is drugs and treatments that are that affect the nerve system. The specialist in Neurology is called a Neurologist. However the expert in Neuroscience is known as a Neuroscientist. A specialist in Neurology or a neurologist can prescribe medications for their patients. However the Neuroscience specialist or Neuroscientist cannot prescribe any medication to any person. Neurologists are specialists who treat mental disorders or diseases that are related to the neuronal system.   4. What is a Recent Significant Advance in Neuroscience Research? The fields of Neurology as well as Neuroscience are studies that focus on the exact same thing that makes up the nervous system. However, their approaches differ as Neurology is associated with the treatment or treatment of neurological disorders. On the other side, Neuroscience is related to the research that is conducted on the neuro-related disorders. While the principal assets of both subjects is identical, their work is distributed. The specialists in Neurology, as well as Neuroscience, differ from one another in a variety of ways. The first is related to treatment and the other associated with research. Neurology is also known as one branch of Neuroscience in addition to all the twelve other branches.
