Many factors might contribute to difficulty breathing, including being overweight, cold, fever, or asthma. However, they can indicate that something is amiss with your heart if they occur frequently. Atrial fibrillation is the most frequent type of arrhythmia, in which electrical activity in the upper chamber of the heart is disorganized, resulting in a rapid and irregular pulse. Significant shortness of breath and an increased risk of additional catastrophic problems can both occur due to atrial fibrillation.
