It only leaves you helpless and embarrassed. Even after several meetings with pediatrician, it hasn’t solved this problem and you only wish anything would help. To lessen your anxiety, here we have discussed the bedwetting problem in detail and what factors affect them the most. What is Enuresis? Enuresis refers to involuntary urination in children, primarily at night. Usually, a child is expected to sleep without wetting the bed between the age of two to four. However, many children wet the bed after this age, some even till their teenage years. Most of the children outgrow this problem after a certain age. Gender factor It is a fact that bedwetting is more common among males than females. It is estimated that among the total population of bedwetters, two-third are males. There is not any definite explanation for this phenomenon. However, some of the possible explanation for this suggests that girls mature faster than boys.

Psychological problems often include family problems, fear, social adjustment, a big change in life, etc. In most of the enuretics, there is not any anatomical and psychological problem. In fact, in most of the children, the prime reason of problem is deep sleep. In such cases, the problem gets cured when parents start sleeping with children or take help of bedwetting alarm. Thus, bedwetting problem is not something you should worry too much about. Instead, take help of bedwetting solutions.
