  1. STROKE AND ITS EFFECTS As we all know, the brain is one of the most important parts of our human body because it controls each and every organ of our body, we do not expect our life without a brain that’s why it is very important to take care of your brain. In this article, we are going to talk about stroke, stroke is nothing but a brain attack. It occurs when oxygenated blood is not properly supplied to our brain. When our brain does not get a sufficient amount of oxygenated blood then the brain cells are not able to perform their functions properly. This is a brief introduction of stroke, now let us talk about the stroke risk factors on our body. Q. What Are The Effects Of Stroke On The Body? It is the fact, the effect of stroke is not the same for all bodies. The effect of stroke is based on the type, severity, location, and number of strokes. As we all know, our brain is divided into three parts: Cerebrum (Right and left sides or hemispheres). Cerebellum (top and front of the brain). Brainstem (base of the brain). These three parts of the brain have their different functions, and if any one of them is damaged due to the stroke then that part is not able to perform its function properly. Now let us talk about the effects when the stroke happens in the brainstem (base of the brain).

  2. Here Is The List Of The Effects That Can Be Seen With A Stroke In The Brainstem: Firstly, let us know about the location of the brainstem, it is located at the base of the brain right above the spinal cord. Many important functions of your body like a heartbeat, blood pressure, and breathing are controlled by the brainstem. Now let us talk about the problems that you will face if the stroke happens in your brainstem. Loss of vision. Disturbance in breathing and heart functions. Irregularities in body temperature. Weakness and paralysis. Q. What Effects Can Be Seen With A Stroke In The Cerebellum? Let us discuss the cerebellum, it is located beneath and behind the cerebrum towards the back of the skull. This part of the brain receives sensory information with the help of the spinal cord of our body. Without the cerebellum, the coordination and movement of the body are not possible. Now let us talk about the effects of stroke when it happens in the cerebellum: Dizziness. Headache. Nausea and vomiting. The irregular coordination and balance of the body. Q. What Effects Can Be Seen With A Stroke In The Cerebrum? The cerebrum is one of the most important parts of the brain that occupies the top and front portions of the skull. It controls your thinking power, reasoning, memory, vision, and emotions. The cerebrum is divided into two parts: Right hemisphere. Left hemisphere. Now let us discuss the effects of stroke in the cerebrum: Disturbance in movement and sensation. Facing problems in speaking and listening. Memory loss. Loss of self-care ability. A problem in eating and swallowing.
