  6. Eligibility Requirements • United States Citizen • 17 Years old by September 1st of Freshman Year of college • Graduate High School by August 1st • Apply and Be accepted by an NROTC host School • Receive minimum Scores: • SAT- 530 Verbal & 520 Math • ACT- 22 English & 21 Math

  8. Physical Requirements • Students do not need an physical to apply, but should meet Navy’s basic physical requirements • Upon receipt of scholarship, you will be directed to take Department of Defense Medical Exam.

  9. Military Service Obligations • Commissioned as an Ensign upon graduation. • Do Not go through Officer Candidate School (OCS). • Five years of Active duty service for most programs.

Application Process • Complete application online NOW!! at https://www.nrotc.navy.mil • Release SAT/ACT scores to 0656 • Apply to 5 NROTC host schools • Schedule an Officer Interview • Submit High School Transcript and Teacher Evaluation forms • Math evaluation for Navy Option • Science evaluation for Nurse Option • Enter correct email addresses for evaluations and advise those teachers in advance

IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!!! • No Obligation for Applying • If selected, you have until May to either accept or reject the scholarship • You are not in the military • You are a full time COLLEGE student • No military service obligation until the start of your Sophomore year. • Will not have to pay back cost if you decide to not to continue
