Kidney Stones and Diabetes

Diabetes and kidney stones are two different health issues, but they might present special difficulties when they coexist. Because high blood sugar affects kidney function, diabetes may be a factor in kidney stone production. Furthermore, diabetes raises the risk of urinary tract infections, which in turn raises the possibility of kidney stones developing. A complete approach is necessary to manage both disorders, including dietary adjustments to minimize kidney stone recurrence, cautious blood sugar control, and hydration.
