OIB Land Ice Seasonal Strategy: Summary and Draft Recommendations 1)  ICESat-ICESat-2 continuity objectiveGeographic coverage is minimally specified as a repeat of the Jacobshavn Glacier grid and overflights of the OSU clusters and Summit survey line to obtain data from ice margin to divide, and two coast-parallel lines on the Northwest coast, one to estimate elevation change near the coast and one near the equilibrium line. 2)  Understanding Surface MeltThere were no specific flight recommendations. But a reflight of some of the earlier LVIS legs in the South seems in order3)  Understanding Seasonal DynamicsFullfilled by Jacobshavn Grid mentioned above.Other recommendations1)  Repeat Cryosatunderflight especially going from ablation to dry snow facies2)  Repeat ATM/LVIS acquisitions from Sept 2007 (some data collected over OSU clusters so that does double duty)3)  Repeat of selected ATM lins from 199? .
