  6. More Quick Facts Ethiopia • Location: Ethiopia is in the Horn of Africa. This is the part of East Africa that juts out like a rhino’s horn. Ethiopia would cover about three-fourths of our State of Alaska.

  7. More Quick Facts Ethiopia • The Land: The Great Rift Valley cuts through the southern part of Ethiopia. On the northwest side of the valley are the grassy highlands. On the opposite side, the land is mountainous. • Weather: It can get very hot in the lowlands—up to 120 degrees. The highlands are cool, in the 60s and 70s. It rains from June to September and is very dry from October to February.

Sometimes their families throw them out. Pray they will stay strong and faithful to Jesus. • for missionaries from Ethiopia to other nations—and that God will send more.
