  2. Objectives: Discuss current initiatives and forces necessitating changes in nursing education Identify how ATI consultants can assist in meeting your program needs. Discuss what a standard consultation includes. Differentiate how ATI consulting services are unique. Introduce the qualifications of ATI consultants.
  3. Driving forces necessitating change in how nurses are educated: Increasing complexity of health care environment. Increasing acuity level of patients. Decreasing number and availability of clinical sites. Content overload. Practice-theory gap. Nurse educator shortage

  7. CURRICULUM: Question #1 "Which of the following best describes your program in relation to considering a curriculum revision?“ We are considering a curriculum revision. We will begin a curriculum revision within the next year. We are currently in the process of a curriculum revision. We are not considering a curriculum revision with the next 2 years We are not considering a curriculum revision.

  9. CURRICULUM: Question #2 Is your program considering a concept based curriculum (CBC)? We are in the contemplation phase of adopting a CBC. We are in the process of developing a CBC. We currently have a CBC. We do not have plans to adopt a CBC.
  10. CURRICULUM Group Discussion: What have you found to be the most challenging part of developing a CBC?
  11. EVALUATION: Question #3 Does your program have and use on a regular basis a comprehensive program evaluation plan? We do not have a formal program evaluation plan. We are in the process of developing a formal program evaluation plan. We have a formal plan but we do not use it on a regular basis to make evidence-based decisions. We have a formal evaluation plan and use it regularly.
