  2. Outcomes Survey and Report for Workshop Participants: • Required for our annual report to the FIPSE program that funds these workshops. • We will request basic outcomes data from all workshop participants who teach a redesigned course using the methods presented at this workshop. • See the Day 4 “Evaluation” section of your workshop notebook for copies of the outcomes data collection form you will receive near the end of the coming fall semester, plus a copy of the report compiled by our external grant evaluator from the data on redesigned Fall 2007 courses provided by the 2007 workshop participants.

  3. Outcomes Data Collection form sent to 2007 workshop participants (The complete form is in the Day 4 Evaluation Section of your workshop notebook.)

  4. Sample of Outcomes Data from 2007 workshop participants (The complete report is in the Day 4 Section of your workshop notebook.)

  5. Sample of Outcomes Data from 2007 workshop participants (The complete report is in the Day 4 Section of your workshop notebook.)

  6. Thursday Breakout Sessions: • Brief overviews of each planned session will be provided now. • Additional sessions can be added if requested by Wednesday morning. • Staff will be available in Room 403 for individual course planning help during all breakout session periods so you can work on your course redesign during any times you aren’t attending breakouts.

  7. The total combined time of all planned sessions is 480 minutes, and each of you will have a total of 390 minutes to “spend” on breakout sessions and/or course design sessions with staff advisors. • This means that there will be at least 90 minutes of breakout sessions that any one individual will not be able to attend. (However, materials from all sessions will be available to all workshop attendees in the workshop notebook, CD, and online.) • The final schedule of breakout sessions will be announced by noon tomorrow.

  8. Tentative schedule “TBA” blocks will be used to schedule repeat sessions and/or sessions on new topics requested by workshop participants.
