  1. Psalm 29:1-11 1 Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, give unto the Lord glory and strength. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

  2. 3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is over many waters. 4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

  3. 5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon. 6 He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. 7 The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.

  4. 9 The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth, and strips the forests bare; and in His temple everyone says, “Glory!” 8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.

  5. 10 The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, and the Lord sits as King forever. 11 The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.

  6. 29:5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.

  9. The Cedars of God *Species of cedar native to the mountains of the Mediterranean region, in Lebanon, western Syria and south central Turkey. *These trees are as high as 35 meters and up to 12 meters thick and some 1000 years old!

  10. The Cedars of God *King David‘s house was made of cedar. *Solomon used cedar in the construction of the first temple in Jerusalem.

  11. A PICTURE OF JUDGMENT For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and ‎upon every one that is lifted up;

  12. and he shall be brought low and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan…

  13. And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. Isaiah 2:12,13,17

  14. Psalm 104 says that God planted the cedar trees… In Psalm 1 the righteous are likened to a fruit bearing tree… In Psalm 37 the wicked are compared to the power of a green tree that is here and gone…

  15. One day God’s judgment will result in the destruction of ⅓ of the trees and green grass… Rev. 8:7 God’s judgment is reflected in the destruction of trees with hail and frost… Psalms 78 & 105 Trees are mentioned 348 times in the Bible

  16. THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” Gen. 2:16-17

  17. THE TREE ON CALVARY [Jesus] Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed. 1Peter 2:24

  18. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Acts 5:30 And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. Acts 10:39

  19. Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. Acts 13:29 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree” Galatians 3:13

  20. THE TREE IN THE NEW JERUSALEM And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

  21. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month.

  23. Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. Revelation 22:14
