  2. Using the Internet Explorer, sign on to the St. Lucie County Public Schools home page. Select the Teacher portal.

  3. Look in the left hand column and select Stats - FCAT

  4. Existing User New User If you are a “first time” user, you will need to request an account. Otherwise, enter your Login ID and Password. Click on Login to the FCAT-STAR

  5. This is the first screen that you will see after you login to FCAT-STAR. Decide which of the features you are interested in using. Each of the features can be accessed by clicking on an appropriate heading. The top bar is a “Work” bar used to generate various reports. The second bar is a “Informational” bar, containing information on various subjects. As you notice there is a “help info” button on the screen for additional help if needed. “General Resources” located on the top bar is another source of testing information.

  6. Instructor Users automatically move to the Report query page.

  7. Main report design page. Select the tests. Select demographic data for display by selecting options to the right of tests. Limit the report by selecting specific criteria in the drop-down menus. Also, you may compare two years of test data by selecting a comparison year.

  8. List of student scores is generated. Click on hyperlinks to view summary reports. ‘View achievement levels’ will provide the colored tables. This student list can be exported to Excel for further analysis.

  11. Report Design for selecting grade and specific FCAT score This is an ‘Advanced Report’ under FCAT Score Reports. Good report for identifying students for remediation, tutoring, or FCAT Retakes.

  12. District at a Glance- trend data reports by district and school Compare scores- compare scores by state, district, or school

  13. Other district test data are available. STA-10, SRI, and HORF are functional now. • DIBELS will be functional by end of 07-08 school year. • HORF- grades 1-5 reading; teachers enter WPM scores and quartiles are • calculated • SRI scores can be queried by Last Test Taken date • All reports are designed like the FCAT reports
