The lights, the food, the people and the traditions all lead to the most beautiful celebration of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. It is the ultimate festival of light. Diwali is thus, synonymous with lighting up candles and diyas in every house and bursting fire-crackers. As beautiful and divine everything looks on Diwali, so much fire everywhere leads to a dire need of following precautions for fire safety. Fire can be very dangerous. And it is vital that everyone is equipped with the knowledge of fire safety and consciously follows the right steps for the safety of themselves and everyone else around. Here is a list of tips to keep in mind for a safe Diwali. •Placement – Diwali is the day when every house is a-glow with the light of several candles and diyas on every corner. It is important to be very mindful of the placement of candles and

  2. diyas. Place them on a solid surface so they do not fall. And do not put them near any item that is prone to catching fire quickly. Strictly keep them out of reach from children, pets and most importantly, inflammable materials. •Fire-crackers - Burn fire crackers in an open area only. This prevents accidents. Make sure you buy the fire-crackers from a verified source so that the quality of these fire-crackers is top-notch. •Alternatives – If you have small children at home or have trouble with placing fire in corners of the house, you can always go for alternatives. Use diwali lights to decorate the house instead. Nowadays you can also find online electric diya, candles and other types of lamps that are perfectly safe to use. They look just as beautiful as diwali decoration. Source Link: - https://deepavalicelebrationideas.blogspot.com/2021/07/fire-safety-tips-diwali.html
