Dignity Compassion

In January 2013, the Chief Executive of the NHS Commissioning Board highlighted a pressing priority: supporting the 800,000 people with dementia in the UK to live well in their communities. Recognizing that hospitals often fail to provide adequate care for older, frail individuals—especially those with dementia—it's essential to shift focus from institutional settings. A systemic change is needed to provide compassionate, dignified care that prioritizes quality of life for those affected.
