  2. Directors Coordinate the other crew members like a symphony conductor by calling the shotsof who does what when and bysetting the production pace. They're also in charge of writing orinterpreting the script.

  4. 1) Pre-Production • Determine purpose of the script and how to accomplish it • Finalize script running time • Pick location, cast, and crew • Make sure all preproduction elements are done on deadline (costumes, set pieces, lighting arrangement, music and audio, etc.) • Creation of shooting script (all notes for shooting the production) 2) PRODUCTION • Make sure everyone knows what they are supposed to do by rehearsals • Call the shots on what each camera should record and when, music and graphics for credits, and inserting prerecorded material • Look ahead for possible issues in the production; responsible for smooth production What I learned about Directors 3) Post Production Don't let anyone leave until the recording is played back Thank cast and crew and clear everyone and the equipment out of the area Schedule any needed editing secessions

  5. Lighting Director Using advanced technical skills to realize the design and, with the help of the rest of the lighting department, to set up and operate specialized lights and accessories.

Lighting Director's job to use the script or brief from the production team to design the specific look required for each shot. • Lighting is an essential part of a programme's overall design and style, so this is a key creative and technical role. Lighting Directors work closely with the Lighting Console Operator, Senior Electrician (Gaffer) and several Electricians (Sparks). • Lighting Directors oversee the set-up and operation of the lights, by instructing a team of Sparks on the studio floor, and the Lighting Console Operator who controls studio lighting effects, using equipment in the gallery (technical area).   8. 1) Pre-Production • Piece together material needed for the production • Receive a list of shots or script to get a general idea of the project What I learned about Editors 2) PRODUCTION • Summarize a previous occurance by pulling together clips 3) Post Production Work with director to organize footage, decide pieces  to use, and put it togrther Coordinate visual elements with audiio elements Cut down hours of raw footage
