  3. REWRITING THE STORY • Your task is to write the story in your own words, adding your own details • Make sure to change: • the characters • the desirable thing that is offered • the dilemma in which the main character finds himself • The lesson the main character learns should remain the same.

  4. PROVERBS • Research existing proverbs and then come up with your own on the theme of greed • Some proverbs include: “More haste, less speed.” “Don't count your chickens before they are hatched.” “The pot calls the kettle black.” What do you think they mean?
