Becoming a Knight • At age 15, the boy would be given to a knight to serve as a squire • He followed the knight around, assisting him in whatever he needed: horse-tending, cleaning weapons, battling
Becoming a Knight • At 20 years old, the squire could finally become a knight, if he had proven worthy • He knelt in front of his lord who would tap him on both shoulders • This was surrounded by a big feast with family and friends
