What change would be expected in central U.S. hydrology due to a sudden change in North Atlantic SSTs?

Is there potential for abrupt change in central U.S. hydrology due to land surface/ atmosphere feedbacks?

Atmosphere: WRFV3, with LSM

Ocean: Mixed layer ocean model plus Ekman dynamics (Hagos and Cook 2009)

Vegetation: CPTEC PVM (Oyama and Nobre 2004), for now asynchronously coupled
