Case Study: POS System on .NET for a Financial Services Company Client Headquartered in Montgomery, the client is a leading financial services company providing pawn, short- term and installment loans, and also cash advances. Challenges The client was managing their operations manually that led to a number of issues like: Inefficient management of their financial services (pawn loans, cash advance, auditing, inventory management, etc.) Limited scope for scalability of their operations Inefficient and tedious communication with their customers and high turnaround time to deliver customer services No centralized system for managing data Integration with multiple locations was difficult and had multiple security concerns Unable to use POS devices due to legacy system (File Pro) Solution ISHIR’s domain subject matter experts recommended a POS system to be built on Microsoft.NET. The team suggested .NET since security, scalability and an enhanced user experience were critical parameters to the ?lient’s ?usiness requirement.
