  4. Predator/Mosquito Inquiry • To determine the effectiveness of two different mosquito predators, three isolated pens were created in a large empty warehouse. Mosquito populations were placed into each isolated pen and the population was sampled once each week by placing netting near a tub of water for 15 minutes. Mosquitoes caught in the net were counted and released. Once mosquito populations were stable, bats were introduced into one isolated pen and dragonflies were introduced into a second isolated pen. The third pen did not have any predators. The number of mosquitoes collected each week is recorded in the following data table.
