  3. Place The Human Characteristics of Greece is that there population is very, very large. The population is 10,787,680. The land there is mostly mountains . The rest’s is flat land and they use that for crops and houses. The Physical Characteristics are that the landforms are mostly mountains that extend into the sea’s they have. The climate’s there subtropical and Mediterranean.

  4. Location Greece is 40 degrees north and 20 degrees east. Greece is west of Italy and east of Turkey. Greece is in the continent of Europe. Greece is located in the Northeastern Hemisphere. Greece is next to Turkey, Albania, Bulgaria ,and Macadamia. Those country’s are all in Europe.

  5. Movement Movement in Greece includes transportation, communication, food, exports, and imports. Transportation is big there, there is cars, taxis, buses, trains, boats and more . Imports are what receive from other country’s which include machinery, transport equipment, fuels, chemicals and more. Exports are what the give which include food, beverages and textiles. Greece communicates with phones, facebook, twitter, email and more. The foods there have a big variety. They have octopi, barbequed and grilled meats ,lots of seafood and more.

  6. Human Environment Interaction The environment in Greece is beaches, volcanic zone and earthquakes. Humans have adapted to the environment by building roads, buildings and wearing well-insulated clothes to get warm. Humans have modified the environment by building highways and cutting down trees to build houses. Humans depend on the environment for coal for winter, trees for firewood and oil and coal to sell. Effects of changes in the environment are acid rain, forest fires and deforestation.

  7. Region • Our country, Greece, is in Europe. They speak a language called Greek in Greece. In Greece, the bride at a wedding has a dowry made by her mother, grandmothers, or aunts, made out of sheets, towels, and handmade embroideries. Also, when Greek people meet someone that they know, they give them a hug or a kiss. If they don’t know them, they give them a handshake. There are 10,787,680 people in Greece and their major religion is Orthodox, Christian. In Greece, they also have mountains with ranges that extend into the sea as peninsulas or chains of islands.

Fun Facts • The first Olympics games were held in Olympia 776 B.C. • Greece is the leading producer of the sea sponges. • There are as many as 63 different folk dances in Greece. • Ancient and modern Greeks believe in gods. • There are 14 different Olympian Gods. • They speak a lot of different languages.
