  • Recognizes that students come in as individuals, seek to pursue diverse pathways, and accomplish diverse outcomes. With guidance, each student interweave his or her own experience to make a life in dance.

  • Dance is a performing art; therefore participation in the dance concert is mandatory. Dance students are responsible for attending all dress rehearsals and the performance events.

  • Dance Everyday (participate and try your best) Students do not get participation credit if they do not dance.
  • You must have a doctors note to sit out of class. Alternate assignment = part credit only.
  • You must dress out to take class.
  • Students will participate in the Dance Concerts.
  • Students will keep a portfolio of all written and some recorder work in a folder in the dance studio.

  • Leotards and dance tights are require for advanced dance classes.
  • No shoes, socks, or jewelry in dance class.

  • Ballet Barres are to be used appropriately.
  • No shoes, socks, or jewelry.
