Corruption , incompetency , lawlessness and “ Mofahimat ” ( reconciliation ) are the “ golden ” words of Zardari’sera . If our memory is not too short , we must not forget the long list of corruption scandals PPP government got on its credit .

  6. FAILURES Incompetency to solve the economic , energy and security issues proved to be disastrous for Pakistan . They raised the slogan that Democracy is the best revenge and indeed the nation felt the revenge. Moreover , murderers of “ MohtarmaBenazir Bhutto ” remained at large throughout PPP era .

  7. FAILURES At a time when there was need for serious punishment to criminals to rid the country of terrorist activities , President Zardari used his constitutional powers to stay the execution of some 8,000 condemned prisoners .

  8. ACHEIVEMENTS Record increase in wheat production , increase in salaries of government officials up to 158 percent , disbursement of rupees 70 billion among 7.5 million deserving families through the Benazir Income Support Programmed and financial help to 1,35,000 deserving people by Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal .

  13. After serving his mandate of five-year term , President Asif Ali Zardari will bid farewell to presidency in a matter of weeks , leaving it to history to judge how he fared as the head of state and head of the Pakistan People Party , which ruled the country for five years but was comprehensively defeated during his incumbency .

  14. As Mr . Zardari will not be constitutionally allowed to take part in politics for two years and his son Bilawal also prefers to stay away from the country because of security reasons , the Pakistan People Party would be facing a leadership crisis that might render its future pretty bleak .
