  1. Sound Waves By: Drew Kempf http://home.comcast.net/~thomasw-2/SubwooferSetupandEQpage2.html Medical Uses http://www.popscreen.com/p/MTU1MzI1/Radio-Waves-clip-art-vector-clip-art-online-royalty-free-public-

  2. Use 1: Ultrasonic Sound Waves Ultrasonic sound can be used in medicine through sonograms. Ultrasonic sound is used to see the fetus of a pregnant woman. Ultrasound transmits high-frequency sound pulses into the body by using a probe. The sound waves then bounce around in the body and are reflected back into the probe. The reflection waves are relayed to a machine to display and image. The machine uses echoes to get an image. http://theglobalminute.com/1535/what-are-the-real-intentions-of-texas-new-sonogram-law

  3. Use 2: Ultrasonic Sound Waves Ultrasound can be used determine the cause for any pain, swelling or infection that may appear. Ultrasound can also be used to find any abnormalities or damages that may have occurred. Ultrasound transmits high-frequency sound pulses into the body by using a probe. The sound waves then bounce around in the body and are reflected back into the probe. The reflection waves are relayed to a machine to display and image. The machine uses echoes to get an image. http://contecmedical.en.made-in-china.com/productimage/YoyxfUhuOGpO-2f0j00gBytfzbIJGpJ/China-Mobile-Ultrasound-Machine-CMS600C-.html

  4. Use 3: Ultrasonic Sound Waves Ultrasound can be used to see many of the body's internal organs. Also ultrasound can be used to check blood flow. Ultrasound transmits high-frequency sound pulses into the body by using a probe. The sound waves then bounce around in the body and are reflected back into the probe. The reflection waves are relayed to a machine to display and image. The machine uses the echoes of the sound waves to get an image. 5. Use 4: Audible Sound Waves Audible sound can be used in medicine by a stethoscope. A stethoscope allows you to hear the heartbeat of someone. On one end of the stethoscope is a diaphragm. The diaphragm is connected to a hollow, air-filled tube. That tube splits in two and leads to earpieces, which the doctor wears. When the heart beats it produces vibrations, which are then picked up by the diaphragm. The sound is then passed up through the tubes and into the doctor’s ears. http://rayankarkadan.wordpress.com/2010/09/09/99/stethoscope-2/
