  1. APC Communication Change October 2013

  2. APC Alias mailboxes in Trilogie and individual e-mails will no longer be necessary with the new communication change. At this time, each individual discrepancy from SAC is e-mailed through Trilogie to the branch using the APC Alias mailbox for a specific location.

  3. SAC will now send specific request types at one time through Outlook. For example, an e-mail will only contain the first requests, another will contain all second requests and so on… This e-mail contains all first requests on an Excel Spreadsheet attachment. The attached spreadsheet will have all of the first requests and can be filtered. For example, filter by branch location or PO writer.

  4. To ensure timely resolution, responses will still be expected in the memo field of the entry. This is importantto avoid unwarranted escalations in the case that your SAC Contact is out of the office. We do not have access to each other’s e-mail.

  5. Intercompany Exception to Communication Changes Some direct payables will not show up on the “On Hold” report – specifically applying to morning directs that were transmitted the night before. These discrepancies will be e-mailed via Outlook because there is no report available.

  6. Freight Alerts, Vendor Mismatch, and Special Terms will go out on similar e-mails. These items have already been reconciled per SAC procedure, but are something the branch may need to review to ensure the accuracy of orders. “Alerts” will still be sent to the branch.
