  2. Did you know… • Hinduism have their own tradition like other religions. Their tradition has embedded flash and blood for the people some traditions include: Tantra,Vastru,Karma,Ayerverda,Jyotish,Puja, and Yanja. • This tells that Hinduism tradition means that it’s a way of life.

  3. Basic Beliefs • The Sanskirt word “OM” golden statues of four armed dancers and half- human figures the beautiful lotus flower, and vermillion. Call shruti which means hearing for hundreds maybe even thousand of years. Insert picture

General Information • There are 330 million Hindu Gods • Hinduism is at its deepest a Monotheistic religion although the supreme being god or Brahman. • The Hindu Holy Book includes: THE VEDAS,THE MANTRAS,THE GAMAS, and THE ITHASES. • The dead are burnt not buried, worship should be made to a representation. • The Vedas alone or god himself is considered the true leader. • The final goal is “To be freed from the cycle of births in this world”.

  5. Founding of (religion) • Hinduism was founded in 1500-500 BCE. • Usually a Philosophery prophet comes up with a system revolutionary.

  6. Founding continued… • YES, the religion was well received and they were prosecuted. • It was said philosophical points of view rather than a rigid common set of beliefs.

  7. In the beginning… • People thought Hinduism was not a good religion. • People at the beginning thought Hinduism wasn’t that good so then it changed and now everyone cherished Hinduism.

  8. And now… • Followers live in India • There are about 900 million followers and 14% • Everyone loves Hinduism now but didn’t at the beginning. • Some of them lived in different countries and had a different religion.
