  2. ERecruit What is ERecruit? Is an online program designed to make the hiring process more efficient. Provide user friendly job search available to the university departments and the community. The Role of Case Employment Office Located in 304 Crawford Hall is responsible for Administering the employment process of Case staff (i.e., non-faculty) employees; fulfilling the staff employment needs of Case by committing to and complying with all federal and state statutes enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the U.S. Department of Labor; following outlined hiring procedures for the purpose of serving in the best interest of the university and providing a high quality, professional service to its community; and maintaining the strictest of confidentiality with the university, its employees, and applicants.

  3. ERecruit The Role of Case Compensation Office Located in 220 Crawford Hall is responsible for designing and administering the salary program for staff. The Compensation office provides administrative guidance to supervisors in paying employees competitively for the contributions each employee makes toward the success of the individual departments and the University as a whole.   4. ERecruit • What’s Changed with the Hiring Process? • The Documents and the process to request a job posting for hire is required before anything is entered into the ERecruit system. This is the current procedure whenever you need to write a new or revise a current job description otherwise your request will be delayed. • The staff employment requisition and safety conditions. • New Job Description or Position Description serves as a formal document that summarizes the important functions of a specific job, actual duties, responsibilities and requirements. • Job Evaluation Process to get proper job title, grade and posting information. • The potential candidate has a better assessment of the requirements and scope of work. • Goal • A more efficient process to get the best candidate(s) to interview and ultimately hire for the job.
