Payments • The $1,155 non-refundable deposit is due by this Friday March 14th • The next payment is $3,250 (half of the total registration & tuition and program fee, minus the $1,155 non-refundable deposit) and is due on or before March 27,2014 • The next payment is $3,250 (remaining balance) and is due on or before April 25,2014

  3. The Basics • You must arrive in Cuzco on Sunday, June 22 by noon • ProWorld will arrange a taxi to hotel • Program ends at noon on Saturday, July 26 • You must leave the homestay by noon.

  4. The Basics: Flights • When arranging your flight, please note: • Cal Poly International Center recommends you buy changeable/refundable tickets • Cost is higher, but gives you the flexibility to make changes • Might be labeled “plus one day” which means flight leaves on the 21th and arrives on the 22th • Many flights from LAX or SFO arrive in Lima after 8 pm and flights to Cuzco do not resume until early the next morning • Leave at least 2-3 hours to make a connecting flight • Students will be required to complete a ‘Flight information’ online form that outlines your flight itinerary

  6. The Basics: Roommates • Roommate selection • Double occupancy rooms • Students can choose roommates • All students must complete the online accommodations form • If you do not have a roomie, the Cal Poly-Led Programs office can match you up with someone

  7. Health Issues • Check out the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Travel Health website for Peru specific information cdc.gov/travel • Cal Poly Health and Counseling Services has a Travel Clinic every Friday from 8-11 • Call 756-2111 for an appointment • Make appoint 4-8 weeks before the program

  8. Mandatory Online Pre-departure • All students must complete an online pre-departure training through PolyLearn • Students will be enrolled early Spring quarter • Must be completed prior to departure • Should take about 1 – 1 ½ hours
