  5. Applying for Benefits • Business process allows customers to apply for benefits without coming into an office • Apply online • Telephone interview

  6. FNS Waivers to support business model • Waiver for telephone interviews at application (already able to waive for reapplications) • Waiver for unscheduled appointments at application • Requires call center technology (no voice mail) • 8 county pilot demonstration to become one project area for Food Assistance (no inter-county transfers will be required)
