  2. Birth Date/Birthplace James Patterson was born on March 22, 1947 in Newburgh, New York.

  3. Occupation Before James became and author, he was a chairman of the advertising company J. Walter Thompson. He also came up with the slogan, “Toys R Us Kids”.

  4. Education Background James Patterson received his bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College. He also received a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University.

  5. Current Life Patterson lives with his wife Suzanne and son Jack in Palm Beach County, Florida.

  6. Books Patterson has written about 57 books in his lifetime. A few of these books are Kill Me If You Can, Sweet Dreams, and Kill Alex Cross.
