  3. Summarizer Most important events: Mirabal sisters dad’s funeral. Mercedes letter sended to Trujillo. Maria Teresa’s bad dream. Minerva met someone VERY special. Minerva’s graduation.

  4. What is a new change to the plot? A new change to the plot is when the Mirabal’s sisters father died. Something important someone said: “Why is it that every men I can’t love seems to feel I would if Papa hadn’t died?” Mate.

  7. What is the main idea of this section? The main idea of this section is to show us that we have to be persistent, pursue our goals, and never lose hope.

  8. Illuminator “I can’t believe she came to the funeral mass with her girls, adding four more slaps to her big blow.” I chose this passage because it happens frequently in real life. The majority of the men have two families and when they past away, the other family think that why do those strange people come to the funeral but ,reality is they were his family too. “I’m teaching mama to read. I’ve been after her for years but she says, I just don’t have a head for letter.” I chose this passage because that inspires me & reminds me that never is late when you really wanted to learn something ; you just have to be patient ,persistent, and dedicated.
