  1. How Ballet Influenced the Fashion Industry Ballet, The very mention of it elicits a flood of associations. Everyone admires the airy ballerinas that effortlessly soar across the stage, everyone admires the elegance of the Black Swan, and everyone admires Tilda Swinton in the production of Suspiria. However, everyone forgot that it not only inspired other fields like film, but it also allowed fashion designers to express themselves creatively. Consider what else ballet interests designers and what clothing components have entered our closet as a result of ballet wear ballettbekleidung. There is a symbiosis of two components of culture: dance and fashion. At first, the artists were inspired by the images of modern girls, and then ballet wear designers from large houses took their developments into service. By the 70s, ballet wear (ballettbekleidung) had finally ceased to be associated with vulgarity and licentiousness, turning into a world of gloss, beauty and artistry. A curious duality has arisen. On the one hand, the ballerinas themselves ceased to be associated in the eyes of people with impudent women who challenged society with their work - this was appreciated by the designers. On the other hand, fashion designers did not even think of breaking their “kinship” with the dance direction. Their attitude, coupled with the cyclicality of fashion, returned homage to the costumes of dancers on the catwalks, and at the same time to the wardrobes of people who are far from dancing. Every girl’s wardrobe at least now has ballet shoes inspired by the dance of the same name, a cozy bodysuit or a sophisticated outfit made of thin, barely noticeable fabrics. Ballet has not only had an impact on fashion, it has become deeply rooted in it, becoming an integral part of it.
