In summary • You only need maximum of two cables • One with a 3 pin plug: • To connect to a standard wall socket and some old public charge points • One with a Type 2 connector: • To connect to work or newer public charge points • The vehicle will come with one of these as standard • You need to buy the other!

  20. DC Rapid Charger + points: • Quick: from 5 and 30 minutes (0-80%) • RFID Tag/key provides added security and allows controlled usage - points: • some EVs do not have a DC rapid charge inlet: Fluence, Kangoo ZE, E-REVs, PHEVs • Zoe & Smart can take an AC rapid charge through Type 2 connection
