  1. The “Ride The Mainstream!” project for the IDESG, in 5 minutes with some of its Standards Coordination implications, in general, and right now

  2. RTM stands on 2 legs • TMA – The Mainstream Architecture for Common Knowledge, a radically new software engineering component architecture, itself standing on a firm ontological and epistemological basis (Don’t worry: just a plain science of “the phenomenon of knowledge”!) • The AOS – Application Operating System, the new universal front-end for all applications (somewhat analogous to the browser in the www architecture, though as thick client, peer or server it contributes far more)

  3. Some of the broader benefits of TMA-canonical app development • Really RAD, with mostly market-prompted snap-in application composition, with quality • Access Control a natural part of app design • Transparent database and transaction design and management • Secure execution under the control of the AOS • Ontological basis enabling quantum leap in application evolvability in a market context

  4. Some first steps for the IDESG • Background IDESG task: a mini-project to review the design and agilely complete the programming of the bootstrapping AOS, maybe even on its current very incompletely coded basis (during orafter PoCby 2 top programmers in 3 months?) • SCC immediately involves existing Providers in the TMA-canonical specification of current public interfaces and the modelling of Use Cases. Deliverables would enable initial AOS to rapidly verify old and help build new functionality.
