Important Schedule and Attendance Guidelines for Mentor Meetings and Talks

This document outlines crucial dates and requirements for attending the Opening Reunion, mentor meetings, and departmental talks. You must attend the Opening Reunion on the first week and participate in two mentor meetings within two weeks. Additionally, you are required to attend at least four out of five talks arranged by our department and the university. Failing to meet these attendance requirements will result in failure of the course. Detailed dates for meetings and talk attendance forms are specified. Ensure all forms are submitted to Ruby in the office promptly.

Mentor Time • Time Schedule: GH on Wednesdays • Schedule: • One Week: Opening Reunion (must attend) • Two Weeks: Mentor Meeting Time (must attend) • Two Weeks:Student Union Activities • Four Weeks:Talks ranged by our department (must attend) • Four Weeks: Talks arranged by University • Five Weeks:Need not to attend (Days for Midterm/Final Exams/Holidays)

  4. Meeting with Mentor • 1st Meeting Time: • 10/24~10/31:Meet with your mentor. • 10/31:Fill a record form signed by your mentor. Give it to Ruby in our office. • 2nd Meeting Time: • 2012/12/26~2013/1/2:Meet with your mentor. • 2013/1/2:Fill a record form signed by your mentor. Give it to Ruby in our office. • Must meet with your mentor twice. If not, FAIL in this course.
